Super Saturday Tax Kickoff - Saturday, January 24th from 9:30-2:30 p.m. NO APPT necessary. FREE Tax Preparation at MACSC for families and people with an annual income below $53,000. You will receive: Free tax preparation services from IRS-certified volunteer preparers. No cost, no catch! Refund in as little as 10-14 days with direct deposit. Please bring with you: Photo ID for the person filing th...e tax return. W-2, 1099 and other IRS forms as appropriate. Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit, 2013 tax return (if available). Social Security card for each person listed on your tax form (yourself, spouse, and any other dependents). Form 1095-A (Health insurance Marketplace Statement) Child care documentation, unemployment forms.

Community Hearts 2nd Annual Award Gala

Our Community Center is the heart of the Mechanicville Area Community!  The Mechanicville Area Community Service Center- Community Hearts Gala recognizes those individuals and organizations that contribute to making our communities stronger and in some way embrace a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the community through their actions, support for family, positive approach to community, dedication to recreation and / or education for 2014. 

Awards will be given out on February 12, 2015 at Fairways of Halfmoon to individuals and organizations who make a difference in the lives of others in Mechanicville and surrounding areas. The results are in:
