Join the Mechanicville District Public Library (190 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118) on Monday 01/09 at 5:00 p.m. for Book Buddies – Read w/ a Teen Volunteer.  This drop-in program allows young readers to practice reading at the library with supportive, enthusiastic listeners. Children choose their own books to read with their buddy, who will listen and help sound out words or assist with comprehension. Pre-readers also have the option to choose a book, or several, to listen to as their Reading Buddy reads to them! Join us from 5-7.
