MACSC Welcomes NEW Family Support + Resources Specialist – Amanda Phillips

The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, Inc is happy to welcome Amanda Phillips to our MACSC family. Amanda joins us as a Family Support and Resource Specialist and Preschool Teacher.

Amanda grew up in neighboring Stillwater and is happily married with 2 sons. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in early Child Development with almost 30 years working with children in some capacity. She spent quite a few years working as Home Visitor and Preschool Teacher for Saratoga County EOC’s (now Lifeworks) Head Start and most recently working as a Toddler Teacher for CEO’s Early Head Start Program in Rensselaer County. In her free time, you can always find her listening to music and being surrounded by her family and friends!

Amanda is excited to join the MACSC in this very new role as Family Support and Resource Specialist and she looks forward to meeting new families and working with the community! Two of her passions!
