MACSC Welcomes NEW Intern – Kylebear Brown

The Mechanicville Area Community Service Center is excited to welcome Kylebear Brown, one of our new interns from SUNY Albany. Kylebear will be working primarily at the Senior Center through April of 2024, assisting clients in accessing resources to address their needs. In addition to the Senior Center, Kylebear is also excited to become active at the Community Center, where he will be helping with the Food Pantry and other projects.

Kylebear is currently a Senior BSW student at the University at Albany, minoring in Psychology and Sociology. After completion of his undergraduate studies, Kylebear plans to continue his education toward a Master’s degree in Social Work. With a passion for youth advocacy and empowerment, after graduate school, Kylebear hopes to pursue a career as a school social worker. Kylebear is eager to become involved here at MACSC and looks forward to a great year full of opportunity, connection, and growth with the community.
