MACSC Welcomes NEW Intern – Maddie Kenney

The Mechanicville Area Community Center would like to welcome Maddie Kenney, our new Intern from SUNY Albany. Maddie will be working primarily at the Senior Center through April 2025, helping clients access resources and address any needs they may have. In addition to the senior center, you will also see Maddie dedicating time at the Food Pantry and working on other projects in the Community Center.

Coming to us from Duanesburg, NY, is Maddie, a senior at U-Albany who is majoring in Social Welfare, and intends to pursue her Master’s at U-Albany to become a middle school Social Worker. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her sister in the Adirondacks and playing with her dogs. Maddie also enjoys playing softball, and currently plays on a recreational softball league. Maddie looks forward to working with MACSC seniors and is excited to listen to their life experiences, building relationships with them to address their needs and learning from them.
