MACSC Welcomes NEW Intern – Violette Davenport

Violette Davenport

The Mechanicville Area Community Center would like to welcome Violette Davenport, our new Intern from SUNY Albany. Violette will be working primarily at the Senior Center through April 2023, helping clients access resources and address any needs they may have. In addition to the senior center, you will also see Violette dedicating time at the Food Pantry and working on other projects in the Community Center.

Violette is currently in her senior year of the Bachelor of Social Work Program at SUNY Albany. After graduating with her BSW in the spring, Violette hopes to continue her education in the Advanced Standing Program for her Master of Social Work. Violette is passionate about going into the field of geriatric social work once she has graduated and is excited to engage with our community!
