MACSC Welcomes NEW UPK Teacher – Emma Riordan

The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, Inc is happy to welcome Emma Riordan to our MACSC family. She joins us as a UPK Teacher for our new UPK Program through Mechanicville School District.

Emma is new to Saratoga County, moving here from her hometown Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated from SUNY Courtland in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. This will be Emma’s second year teaching UPK in New York State and she comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for early education and dedication to nurturing young minds. Emma is eager for the 2024-2025 school year, where she will be preparing students for their future in Kindergarten through letter and number interactive age-appropriate instruction, while growing students’ fine or gross motor and social skills.

Emma is excited to join the MACSC in this very new role as a UPK Teacher, meeting new families and students. She looks forward to a wonderful year of growth and learning together! We are extremely excited for the positive impact she will have on our students.
