As a small non-profit organization, we rely on donations and community support to keep us going. There are many ways for local business, organizations and community members to get involved or show support. Payment & Refund Policy
Payments: In order to ensure your reservation for any of our fundraising Events or Bus Trips, payment MUST be made in full at the time of registration. If you have not made a payment, your reservation WILL NOT be guaranteed. Any outstanding payments MUST be made within 3 weeks of Event or Bus Departure.
- Pay Online: Credit Card payments can be processed at the time of registration
- Pay in Person: Cash/Checks should be paid in person at MACSC
- Pay via Mail: Checks should be made payable to MACSC, 6 South Main St, Mechanicville NY 12118
Refunds: In the event of an emergency or last-minute cancellation, please contact Community Engagement Director at 518-664-8322 ext 1014. All cancellations within 15 days of Event or Bus Departure are non-refundable.

Anything That Floats

Anything That Floats is an opportunity for you to build a vessel that will float for about ¼ of a mile on the Anthony Kill. This event will immediately follow the annual White-Water Derby which is a longer race composed of kayaks and canoes. There is a full complement of fireman and first responders throughout the route of Anything That Floats to ensure the safety of participants.

Healthy Families Free Community Baby Shower

Another Community Baby Shower is coming!
Healthy Families Saratoga County, in partnership with the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, is excited to host another FREE Community Baby Shower for new and expectant families!
Our April shower (brought May flowers) and so many wonderful families together with resources, connections, support, and baby gear. We can’t wait to do it again and celebrate growing families across Saratoga County.

8th Annual Tammy & Jessie Golf Tournament
Friday October 2, 2026
The golf fundraiser, hosted by the McCormack family, is quickly approaching! All proceeds to benefit Domestic Violence Programs at Mechanicville Area Community Services Center. The Tammy & Jessie Memorial Golf Fundraiser was established in memory of two beloved family members, Tammy & Jessica McCormack, whose lives were tragically taken by domestic violence in 2013. Through this annual fundraiser and related community initiatives, the McCormack family honors Tammy & Jessie’s memory by helping others recognize the signs of abuse – and ultimately save lives.
Registration is now LIVE for a fun event for such an essential cause.

Hand Painted Inspiration Sign Making

The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center hosted a Paint Party Event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This fun and creative gathering offered a meaningful opportunity for participants to express their creativity while raising awareness and showing support for survivors of domestic violence. Haunted House to benefit MHS Senior Class & Youth Programs
Thursday, October 29 & Friday, October 30
Our Haunted House is back for its second annual fundraiser benefiting the MHS Class of 2027 and youth programs here at MACSC!
We’re looking for creative, Halloween-loving individuals ages 13 and up to get involved and help bring the haunt to life!
Whether you want to help with the behind-the-scenes setup, scare guests, or get involved in both nights, there’s a place for you!
