[Mechanicville, NY]  – Sunday March 29th with activities beginning at 10:00 a.m., and derby events kicking off at 12:00 p.m., starting at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 80 N Central Ave, Mechanicville NY 12118 and ends at Mechanicville City Dock, 36 N Main St, Mechanicville NY 12118: – Get ready to make a splash at the 51st Annual White-Water Derby and Anything That Floats Race, held on Sunday, March 29! Hosted by the Tenandeho Canoe Association and the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center (MACSC), these exciting events will take place along the Anthony Kill, concluding at the Mechanicville City Dock, 36 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.

The day’s festivities kick off at 10:00 AM with a Vendor/Makers Fair at the Arts Center on the Hudson, showcasing a variety of local crafters, vendors, resources, and organizations. Then, at noon, the adrenaline-pumping White-Water Derby begins, featuring skilled participants navigating the rapids in a thrilling competition. At 2:00 PM, the Battle of the Businesses Duck Derby will see 2ft inflated ducks racing downstream for a chance to win the Fastest Duck in the March Madness “Quacket,” with all proceeds supporting MACSC. Finally, at 2:30 PM, the highly anticipated Anything That Floats Regatta takes center stage! Participants will display their creativity and craftsmanship by setting sail on homemade, unconventional watercraft—whether it’s a DIY raft, an inflatable flamingo, or something never seen before.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy food trucks lining the street, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities, making this event the ultimate spring celebration. Sponsorship opportunities are available, offering businesses and community members a chance to support this long-standing tradition while gaining valuable exposure.
