Get ready for one of the most exciting and creative events of the year! MACSC’s Anything That Floats is back on Sunday, April 6, 2025, bringing together teams from all over the community to design, build, and race homemade vessels—all for a great cause!

📅 Date: Sunday, April 6, 2025
📍 Location: Mechanicville City Docks (36 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118)
⏰ Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Full timeline outlined below)

• Timeline as followed:
  • Vendor Fair & Easter Bunny Photo 10:00am-2:00pm (Hosted in the Arts Center on the Hudson)
  • Free Kids Games & Scavenger Hunt 11:00 am (Pick up Scavenger Hunt card from the Arts Center on the Hudson)
  • White Water Derby 12:00pm (Starts at Coons Crossing and ends at Mechanicville City Docks)
  • Cast off Duck Derby 2:00pm (Ducks will be cast off from Frances Street bridge by Fire Department and ends at Mechanicville city Docks)
  • Purchase of Ducks: $5.00 Single duck or $20.00 Flock of 5
  • Anything that Floats 2:30pm (Launch behind O’Reilly’s and ends at Mechanicville City Docks)
  • Awards & Closing 3:30pm (B95.5 Tent next to Riverside Center)

Interested in floating? This fun-filled event challenges participants to construct a floating vessel out of non-traditional materials and race it to the finish line.
